TrailBlazer Beth is a blog dedicated to sharing hiking stories from some of the United States most impressive natural spaces. Written by a millennial with a 9-5, this blog is for anyone looking to learn about hiking trails, help planning trips, and traveling on a budget.
E-Meet Beth
My name is Bethany and I am originally from little Rhode Island but am now a South Florida transplant. I flocked south for a job training horses, a passion of mine since I was a teenager. I still work in the equine industry, however, I do so remotely from the comfort of my air conditioned home office.
Every morning, I look at my map of the US hanging on the wall and anxiously think of all the push pins I have not yet marked on places I’ve traveled. Over the last five years, I’ve been able to explore many places across the country. Still, I know there are so many beautiful (often overlooked) areas yet to discover.
I’m keen on utilizing my PTO and frugal mindset to explore as much as I can. From local weekday strolls in South Florida to bucket list destinations. I’ve created this blog as a way to recount some of my most memorable adventures, and share tips for other adventurers or those just looking to get a few more steps in their day.
Principles I Value:
- Recreate Responsibly – help preserve and protect our nation’s treasures.
- Leave No Trace – there is no planet B.
