But with so many viewpoints in the park, where do you begin

This guide unveils the must-see overlooks and trailheads along the Rim Trail to help you capture the most breathtaking memories of your trip. From panoramic views of the amphitheater to hidden arches and hoodoo landmarks, we’ll navigate you towards the best spots along the trail.

About Bryce Canyon Rim Trail

The Rim Trail at Bryce Canyon in Utah stretches for about 11 miles (17.7 kilometers), from Fairyland Point in the north to Bryce Point in the south. Formerly established in the early 1920s, the trail allows hikers to experience the park’s most captivating scenery without needing to change elevation by going down and back up from the canyon rim.

The Rim Trail is considered moderate in difficulty due to some elevation changes, but much of it is paved and well-maintained. Most of the park’s most popular and challenging trails are accessible from the section of the park that the Rim Trail traverses. So, journeying along this path allows you a chance to almost see it all!

  2. Sunrise Point: The next stop is Sunrise Point which offers direct access to the Queens Garden Trail and views of Thor’s Hammer. Continuing on from here, you’ll pass by the Lodge at Bryce Canyon.
  3. Sunset Point: Undoubtedly the most popular stop, Sunset Point offers direct access to the Wall Street and Navajo Loop Trail. Stay here while the sun dips below the horizon, painting the hoodoos in vibrant hues.
